BLS Skills Session

Where: VCMC Nursing Education (3rd floor vintage wing)

Must pre-register for skills and attend after competing AHA’s Heartcode BLS eLearning

Pre-requisite: ‘Heartcode BLS’

AHA’s authorized online elearning course – must be completed prior to attend BLS Skills Session.

Skills Session Fee:

Employees - $22 - VCMC/SPH & Ventura County Health Care Agency employees

Non-Employees - $35

Nursing Education Web Site Account: If you do not already have a Nursing Education Web site account you will need to create an account before you are able to register for skills.

Employees ONLY: click on ‘VCMC/SPH’ user ID to receive discount. Note: we are unable to refund difference after payment is made. If account already created and you are unsure if you will receive discount when registering, call Nursing Ed (805-652-6045) and ask staff to verify BEFORE you pay for course.

Registration closes 48 hours prior to ‘skills session’ date or sooner if session fills.

Note: Before registering/paying for skills session confirm you do not have schedule conflict. There is a 20% surcharge for any refund request if you are unable to attend. Alternate option, we can forward your registration to next available class. Note: there is no grace period and this does not extend your expiration date. Email karen.bateman@ventura.org to initiate either request.‘Drop Ins’ status day of skills session ONLY if seat available with additional $10.00 late fee added to course registration fee.

Heartcode BLS eLearning fee:

Employees/non-employees: $37* This is a separate vendor, and separate payment will be required – no employee discount for this portion).

Completion date must be within 1 year of skills session. It is highly suggested that you complete at least 1 week prior to skills session to avoid issues if site is down for maintenance and/or other issues.
